Kevin was originally born in Seoul, Korea and in January of 1981 he was adopted and sent to America to live with a middle class Irish family in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He is the son of James and Madalyn Shea, parents of 5 children.... 2 white chicks, 2 Korean boys and 1 Korean girl. Both parents were middle class, James was a Korean war vet and decorated police officer and Madalyn was a factory worker. His parents’ personalities were spitting images of "Archie and Edith Bunker". It was as if All in the Family was combined with Different Strokes. Being from a very middle class family, Kevin was the first to attend college. After graduating from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Kevin was curious to explore the rest of the country, so he moved to San Francisco in 2000. There he would discover the world of Stand-Up. Kevin concentrated on developing his own style, which has said to be very laid back and fresh. With his unique style and jokes, he caught the eyes of Hollywood and was invited to the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival and also the HBO Comedy Festival. San Diego Comic Mal Hall has come a long way in a short period of time. With only three years of performing as a comedian, Mal has worked with headliners Dat Phan, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Ian Edwards, Bobby Lee, and Patrick DeGuire at clubs and colleges across the country. Mal is featured as a regular in studio guest on The Mikey Morning Show (KIOZ FM Rock 105.3), and The Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw Morning Show on 101.5KGB FM in San Diego. In January of 2009, Mal was named the unanimous winner of the 2009 Orange County Comedy Competition, which featured over 100 local and national contestants at the Irvine Improv. Along with regularly performing at the World Famous Comedy Store and the Irvine Improv, he has performed at the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and for many members of the US military at various bases worldwide.
Since bursting onto to the NYC comedy scene in 2004, Erik Rivera’s name has become synonymous with comedy. His "boy next door" good looks and unique perspective make him one of New York's fastest rising young comedians. Rivera is a regular on the New York City comedy scene. When in Los Angeles Rivera plays The World Famous Laugh Factory, The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store and The Ice House. In the summer of 2007 Rivera won the Diamonds in the Rough Award at The Latino Laugh Festival in Hollywood and had the honor of performing to a packed house at the Kodak Theatre along side Carlos Mencia and the country’s top Latino comedians.Erik is a familiar face on film and television. He was cast in feature films My Brother as well as Stand Up, by award winning director Michael Rainin. This summer Erik starred in the comedy series: Stand Up 360, released in theaters across the country. With his audience pleasing style and relentless work ethic, he was hand picked to host their Latino showcase: Stand Up 360 Muy Caliente! Erik has appeared numerous times on SiTV, Comedy Central, the Montel Williams Show, Tyra and most recently on MTV Tr3s’ Top Trece Iconos. Showing he knows no bounds, Rivera has recently inked a deal with Urban Latino Radio to host his own weekly talk show “Hooked on E!” starting this summer.
As a three-time champion at Showtime at the Apollo, Kareem Green is a multi-faceted entertainer and comedian whose talents include stand-up, improv, acting and writing. Kareem’s relatable comedic style has earned him television appearances on BET’s ComicView and TV-One’s Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes. Often compared to Dave Chapelle because Kareem shares a wittiness that keeps audiences in stitches throughout the U.S., Europe and the Caribbean Islands about his experiences in foster care, summer camp programs, and having an extremely unsuccessful criminal career. In addition to being an accomplished comedian, Kareem is a skilled actor and has had key roles in the movies Gold Digger Killer, Holla If I Kill You and Comedy In The Hood. His headliner appearances at colleges and comedy clubs proves Kareem is soon to be a household name. Kareem has been featured at New York’s top comedy clubs, including Carolines on Broadway, Standup New York, Gotham Comedy Club and the Comic Strip. He has received national recognition in nationwide comedy competitions such as Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots, The Salem Orb Contest and just recently, Kareem was crowned winner of the 2009 Bay Area Black Comedy Competition.
According to the Seattle Times, Hari Kondabolu is “a young man reaching for the hand-scalding torch of confrontational comics like Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor.” Hari has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and was featured in the 2007 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. He will also be seen on the upcoming John Oliver standup comedy series on Comedy Central this January. Hari was born and raised in Queens, NY and graduated from Bowdoin College with a B.A. in Comparative Politics in 2004. He also earned a Masters in Human Rights from the London School of Economics in 2008.
Kyle Grooms is a very funny comedian, actor and writer. After graduating from the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale, Kyle worked for several years in the television broadcast design business. Kyle started performing standup in local Miami nightclubs while he was still employed as an art director for Univision, the Spanish-language Television Network.A few years of honing his craft and his love for standup propelled him to resign from Univision and pursue a career in comedy. Since then he has moved to New York and in just a few years has become on of the hottest comics working today. He's known for his clever style and broad cultural appeal, and delivers an honest and intelligent approach towards comedy. Kyle is best known for his TV appearances on the Chappelle Show, VH1, Def Comedy Jam, P Diddy's Bad Bad Boys of Comedy and his own Half-Hour special on Comedy Central. His most recent appearances include FOX News and Barelypolitical.com doing the voice of Barack Obama. Kyle has been featured in several national television ad campaigns for Sears, Holiday Inn Express and the Career Builders.com. He continues to perform at clubs and colleges all over North America UK, Sweden and Holland and beyond.
Fahim Anwar started his standup career in Seattle shortly after graduating high school. His parents were instrumental in molding his future beyond this point. Threatening to drop kick him if he didn't go to college, Fahim attended the University of Washington where he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Seconds after tossing his mortarboard, he landed a job in SoCal as an aerospace engineer at Boeing. Fahim is now a regular on the LA comedy circuit, doing spots at the Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Union, Ice House and the Comedy Store, among others. He has also recently toured with national headlining comedian Jo Koy. Fahim dabbles with internet shorts as well, and had the viral video Gods smile upon him with the success of "Afghan Wedding" as it amassed over half a million views on YouTube while being featured on Break.com and Digg.com. His YouTube channel videos have now been viewed over a million times. This spring, Fahim will be guest starring on the new season of NBC’s CHUCK. In early 2010, he will be filming a supporting role in the independent feature film SON OF AN AFGHAN FARMER, written and directed by Matt Levin.
